Flare is a club in Hilton Pattaya. I took some shots at night to capture the mood, the dark and sparkling space. Some shots were taken in the evening when there was some natural light to capture material detail. This is Hilton Pattaya hotel designed by DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURE. I took almost 3 days to take all the shots of lobby, lounge, restautants and common area which I will continue posting later. This place is a must to visit when you go to Pattaya. This is the Tang Chao Club, the VIP club in Xi-an, where I shot the interior design for my client. The interior lighting is not a flush light as usual. It’s a dot and lining light. The wall around is all glass and reflective material. Using flash or additional light would ruin all the atmosphere. So I just click and wait, 30 minutes per shots at f32.
Let’s start with my latest shooting project. It’s ‘Zense’ by ‘DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURE’. The interesting thing about this project is the fashion-inspired design concept which reflects through step runway and pleat form. The seek-and-hide between dining and kitchen space is well managed and amazing. Architectural detail is nice as usual as P’B’s work.
