There are lots of detail here. I think most of people who went there might like night atmosphere but for me I like the late afternoon sunlight the most.
This is White Cafe designed by DBALP. For me, this place is a different taste from usual DBALP design. I went there twice for shooting just because I didn’t feel enough on the first day.

Residence Dream Valley is the private vacation home in Khao Yai designed by DBALP. The geometric form is strong. The composition between the upper and lower mass at the main entrance is impressive and this is one of DBALP’s design signatures for me.

Today, I’m asked to send high resolution files of this project to the printer in China, so it’s a good chance to put them out here too. I took some of these shots with Fuji Quickload Provia 4×5. So sad that I can’t use it anymore.
This is Alila, Cha-am, Thailand. I shot this project for DBALP. Because it had been photographed by many photographers by the day I went there, I tried to find some different angles from the others.
This is a house in Bangkok designed by DBALP. Taking nice photos here is really not hard but taking photos to be as good as the real place is really not easy. Capturing the feeling of enclosed space from multi-level deck, citadel-like wall and super cantilevered mass is the hard part. Distance and eye level must be right. Lucky for me that this place has enough space around to stand. I took more time setting up the camera than before […]
I took these shots in Ko Samui, Bangkok and Xi-an. Looking up always give me an interesting shot. Angle that people usually don’t look at.
Looking down for me is so hard… to set up my giant camera but the result usually worth it. The big problem is I can not avoid my tripod legs. Lately I just don’t care and touch it away in digital.
