Just an experiment. I took these shots  for fun between waiting for the sun set shot and put them together.

On The Rock

Six Senses Hideaway, Samui, was designed by architects from Department Of Architecture. These are photos of the restaurant called Dining On The Rock. People can enjoy dining on the roof or inside the semi-outdoor space with a nearby light installation inspired by the southern shadow play.

Those Walls

More photos of the Banyan Golf Club, designed by OBA. There are lots of walls in this place. I like the material that form a pattern on it. The slightly curve on each tile makes it look dramatically different at night when the light come from below.

A Trip Within

amA Design Studio designed this office building for Chai Tour, the tour agent company. I think the people here are working happily as much as going out on a trip.

Behind The Scene

There is one rule; if you want a different angle, go to the different viewpoint. The harder you try to go, the more difference you get ( but it has nothing to do with aesthetic, just difference, haha ) So, this is behind the scene shot when we, me and my assistant, climbed up the rocks to get more different angle. My assistant helped me wipe out all the weeds from the frame. Being a photographer is not that easy, right? By the way, that morning weather was great.

Banyan Golf Club by OBA (I)

The Banyan Golf Club, Hua Hin. This place was designed by OBA, Office of Bangkok Architect. They designed many projects; The Esplanade, Veranda Resort, Chiangmai and Hua Hin, MINI showroom, et cetera. For this project what I had in mind when I was there is ‘boundaries’. The existing big rocks, the contrast between traditional Thai architecture and contemporary architecture are another interesting issues too.

The Orange Apple Shop

Nowadays, most of the new Apple shops are fitted out in black, white and wood. In Thailand, Apple’s premium reseller shops are called ‘iStudio’. The smaller shops which look like kiosks, are called ‘iBeat’. Whitespace designs most, maybe all, of them. I went to this particular Apple store, about 2 years ago, and was surprised to find that it was orange. I like the fact that it’s different from the others.
